Turn-over
As part of the agreement, you will receive a specific percentage (%) of turn-over which will be used to cover your staff billing and your own income.
Media Support
We have dedicated social media team who will push your venue through digital designs and regular posts about events you have decided to put on.
Accomodation
Included in our agreements, you are entitled to accommodation located within the venue, this is maintained to a high standard as part of our agreement.
Operator Requirements
- Hospitality experience and idea of running venues
- Be willing to set up/already have personal limited company (LTD)
- Passion for local community engagement and real ale
- Be willing to come up with new ideas to benefit the venue
- Personal Licence Holder qualification (APLH)
- Be able to think of offers and put on regular entertainment

Application
You have decided you would be interested in taking on a WJS PUB, you initally declare your interest and show your experience through this website.

Interview
If your application is suitable, you will be invited for an interview in which you will display your ideas and how you would push said venue.

Preperations
When you are declared the operator of the venue, you will then begin preparations for your grand opening, announcing on social media.

Opening
Its time, all preparations have been made and its time to open and introduce yourself to the local community, this is your time to shine.

How do I apply to become a pub operator?
The process begins with an initial enquiry through our 'Become an Operator' page. Following this, we hold a discovery meeting to discuss your experience, vision, and potential locations within our group.
What kind of support does the group provide?
We provide comprehensive support including marketing toolkits, supply chain management, financial planning assistance, and regular business reviews with our regional managers to ensure your pub thrives.
Are there specific training requirements?
Yes, all operators must hold a valid personal licence. We also require completion of our group-specific induction program which covers health and safety, food standards, and brand identity.
How are locations selected?
Locations are chosen based on market demographics, local community needs, and site potential. You can browse our currently available pubs on the 'Locations' page to see if there's a match for your expertise.
