Gemma - Gemma brings over 25 years of experience in hospitality and senior management, having managed pubs at Amber Taverns and Admiral Taverns. Currently, Gemma directs financial planning and strategy within the organization, emphasizing stability and growth in the company's finances. ​

Stephen Whyte

Operations/area Manager

Stephen boasts over 35 years of experience in the pub and hospitality industry, with a background that includes roles at Ossett Brewery and management of numerous pub venues. Joining WJS in February 2022, Stephen collaborates with company directors to drive growth and ensure operational effectiveness.

Helen Joy

Office Manager

Helen has transitioned into hospitality after a successful role in the financial sector, where she excelled as a project and program manager in HR. With approximately 3 years in hospitality, Helen now leads support and oversees daily operations within the WJS group.

Carly Watts

Senior Account Manager

Carly joined WJS in January 2022 after gaining experience in hospitality for a couple of years. Her role encompasses overseeing beer orders, managing weekly financials, conducting regular stock takes, coordinating initial hiring processes for new operators, and serving as the initial point of contact for office escalations. ​

Millie Mayman

Account Manager

Millie joined WJS in March 2024, bringing prior experience from the retail sector. Her responsibilities now include managing beer orders, overseeing weekly financials, and conducting regular stock takes.

Tom Hampshire

Maintenance and account coordinator

Tom has been with WJS for 8 years, with prior experience in hospitality. His current role includes logging and tracking all company maintenance jobs, ensuring clear communication with internal and external parties, and meticulously recording all expense activities.

Alex Gunn

Commercial Auditor

Alex brings previous experience from the retail sector and recently joined WJS in May 2024. He now oversees day-to-day commercial auditing within our venues.

Paul Hunty

Digital Designer

Paul brings years of experience as a copywriter in the digital creative sector for the hospitality industry. Joining WJS in May 2024, he oversees online marketing, designing, and publishing the latest content across our venue's digital platforms.

Jonathan Sedgwick

Property Manager

Jonathan has extensive experience in the maintenance trade, having worked as an electrician and landscape gardener for many years. He joined the WJS team in early 2024 and is responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance fixes at our venues.
